If
your domain has not transferred yet but you want to
test your site you can set up a temporary domain name
for initial testing.
The
following assumes that your hosting package and domain is
already set up.
--------------------------------------------------------------- 1.
Log into your hosting controller panel home page and
select
[Domains].
From
the list of domains click the one that you wish
to add a test url to. Note:
you can also access this function directly from home
page by selecting [Helm Extensions] and following
the path
back to the domain or via [Advanced domain options]
further down the page.
2. On
the domain detail page click where is says "Click here
to create a temporary URL"
3. On
the following page click [Setup].
4. A
'click able' link will appear on the confirmation
page. And
the temporary url will be added to the table at the
top of the domain menu
page.
