How to enable the spam filtering for a mail box .

---------------------------------------------------------------

1. Go to your 'webmail' log in page (normally this is mail.yourdomainname.com) and select the DSPAM Filtering Control Panel link (as shown below).

You can also access DSPAM direct via www.spamcontroller.co.uk.

2. A pop up 'User Name' and 'Password box' will appear.

The password will always be the same as webmail/pop3 one. The user name is slightly different depending on the your mail box type:

~Non catchall accounts -
This will be the same as the mail account in your admin panel.
For example mail@mydomain.co.uk

~Catchall accounts -
This will be the domain name part of the user name but prefixed with the @ symbol.
For example mail@mydomain.com would become @mydomain.com as the user name.

Enter your User Name and Password again.

3. Once logged in select 'Preferences' from the menu at the top of the page.

Select Preferences.

4. Click the 'Opt into' box and then select the 'Submit Changes' box.

Select Preferences.

5. Spam is now enabled using the default settings.

If you wish to modify the the process or select how aggressive the filtering is, you can modify this via the panel although at this stage we recommend using the default settings.

--------------------

Once the account has processed at least 20 emails you will be able to access statistics on the profile of your spam to genuine emails.

Your spam protection is now in place!
